Complete setup tutorial for Fire TV Stick and Android devices - Takes about 5 minutes

V12Mate Setup Guide

If you're seeing only a "Cancel" button when trying to set up V12Mate on your device, this guide will walk you through a simple fix using a free VPN app. This solution works for both Fire TV Stick and Android devices.

We'll install ProtonVPN (a free app), connect it briefly to Netherlands or Mexico, then set up V12Mate. After setup is complete, you can delete ProtonVPN if you wish.

Quick Tip: If you already have a VPN installed on your device, simply connect it to Netherlands or Mexico, then open the V12 app. No need to follow all the steps below.

Step 1: Download ProtonVPN

ProtonVPN is a free, legitimate privacy app that's safe to use and required only for this initial setup.

  1. Press the Search button (magnifying glass icon) on your remote
  2. Type "ProtonVPN" using the on-screen keyboard
  3. Select ProtonVPN from the search results
  4. Click the Download or Get button
  5. Wait for the installation to complete

📱 For Android Devices

  1. Open the Google Play Store
  2. Tap the search bar at the top
