A connection is one device streaming at the same time. A 2-connection plan lets 2 devices watch at once, on the same or different channels.
You can install your login on as many devices as you like (TV, phone, tablet), but only the number of connections you purchased can play simultaneously. Going over that limit pauses one of the streams.
